Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No live electrical work is needed for basic checks; unplug if accessing sensors.
Steps:
- Understand limits: Many Cavin wine coolers have a minimum set temperature (e.g., 5°C / 41°F). Lo may simply indicate you've reached that limit.
- Check actual temperature: Use a thermometer to verify the compartment is not excessively cold.
- Sensor inspection: If the cabinet is warmer than expected but Lo is shown, inspect and test the relevant NTC sensor for under-range readings (very high resistance).
Repair: Replace the affected NTC sensor if it reads out of range for the measured temperature. If the sensor is good, the main control board may be misinterpreting the signal and require replacement.
