Clogged Defrost Drain or Condensation Management Issue
Water pooling at the bottom of the cabinet or leaking onto the floor

Possible Causes
Blocked defrost drain hole, Kinked drain tube, Cracked drain pan, Excessive door openings causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the wine cooler before working inside. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.
Steps:
- Locate drain: Inside the cabinet, look for a small drain hole or channel at the rear, below the evaporator area.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner, cotton swab, or flexible plastic strip to gently clear any debris or mold from the drain hole.
- Flush with warm water: Using a turkey baster or syringe, flush a small amount of warm (not boiling) water through the drain to ensure it flows freely to the rear drain pan.
- Inspect rear drain pan: At the back of the unit, check the drain pan above the compressor for cracks or misalignment.
Repair: Replace a cracked drain pan or damaged drain tube. Reduce door openings and ensure the door gasket seals properly to minimize excess condensation.
