Possible Causes
Failed zone-specific evaporator fan, Faulty zone temperature sensor, Damper door stuck closed (if shared system), Zone control circuit failure on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the CELLA dual-zone wine cooler before accessing interior panels.
- Identify affected zone: Determine whether the upper or lower zone is not cooling.
- Check fan operation: Listen for the evaporator fan in the affected zone when cooling is demanded. If silent, access and test the zone evaporator fan motor and replace if faulty.
- Test sensor: Check the zone's temperature sensor resistance and replace the zone NTC sensor if out of spec.
- Damper (if equipped): On models with a shared cooling system and air damper, inspect the damper door for sticking and repair or replace the air damper assembly if jammed.
- Control board: If hardware is good, the zone control circuit on the main control board may be defective.
