Possible Causes

Failed magnetic reed door switch, Misaligned door magnet, Broken door switch wiring, Faulty door input on main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing door trim or switch covers.

  • Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket is not obstructed by shelves or bottles.
  • Inspect magnet and switch: On CELLA models, a magnet in the door aligns with a reed switch in the cabinet frame. Verify the magnet is present and not loose. Check the switch area for damage.
  • Test the switch: With the unit unplugged, remove the switch cover and test the reed switch for continuity while placing a magnet near it. Replace the CELLA door reed switch if it does not change state.
  • Adjust alignment: If the magnet is misaligned, adjust the door or replace the magnet insert so it lines up with the switch.
  • Control board: If the switch and magnet are good but E10 remains, the main control board door input may be faulty.
