How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing the control panel or top trim.
- Access control panel: On most CELLA wine coolers, remove the top front trim or inner door trim to access the display/touch board.
- Check ribbon cable: Locate the flat ribbon or harness connecting the user interface to the main control board. Reseat both ends, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture around the control panel. Dry any condensation and clean light corrosion with contact cleaner.
- Test operation: Restore power and see if E6 clears. If the error persists and buttons do not respond, replace the CELLA user interface/display board.
- Main board replacement: If a new UI board does not resolve the issue, the main control board may have a communication fault and require replacement.
