Possible Causes
Failed upper zone NTC sensor, Loose sensor clip in upper compartment, Damaged sensor wiring harness, Faulty sensor input on main PCB for upper zone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the interior panels.
- Identify zone: Confirm that the error corresponds to the upper zone on your CELLA dual-zone wine cooler.
- Access upper sensor: Remove upper zone shelves and the rear liner panel. Locate the upper zone temperature sensor, typically a small probe in a plastic holder.
- Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is properly seated in its holder and not dangling. Re-secure if loose.
- Inspect wiring: Follow the sensor wires to the harness. Look for damage or loose connectors. Reseat the connector at both ends.
- Test sensor: Measure resistance at room temperature and compare to CELLA's NTC chart. Replace the upper zone NTC temperature sensor if readings are incorrect.
- Control board: If the sensor is good but E7 remains, the upper zone input on the main control board may be defective.
