Possible Causes
Blocked ventilation grilles, Dirty condenser coil, High ambient temperature, Internal condenser loop operating normally but perceived as excessive
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning vents or coils.
- Check installation clearance: Ensure the CELLA wine cooler has the recommended clearance on all sides and is not built into a tight cabinet unless designed for built-in use.
- Clean vents and condenser: Vacuum dust from all external grilles and clean the condenser coil behind the rear panel.
- Ambient temperature: Verify the room temperature is within CELLA's specified operating range. Relocate the unit if placed near ovens or direct sunlight.
- Monitor operation: Some warmth on the cabinet frame is normal, but if it is too hot to touch or causes odors, have a technician inspect the sealed system and condenser loop.
