Display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry cloth to remove moisture or residue that may interfere with capacitive touch controls.
• Access control panel: Remove screws securing the panel and gently pull it forward.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Ensure the cable between the touchpad and main board is fully seated and not damaged.
• Check for moisture: If condensation is present inside the panel, dry thoroughly and allow to air out before reassembly.
• Replace control panel board: If buttons remain unresponsive, install a new EdgeStar-compatible display/control panel board.

Note: Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the control panel; apply to a cloth first.
