Display shows L1 and the interior temperature reading is abnormally low, sometimes with bottles near the back freezing.
Low Temperature Alarm Condition
Lo
Display shows Lo for temperature and will not allow setting below a certain point.
Low Temperature Setpoint Limit / Display Under-Range
Symptom
Burning smell or electrical odor coming from the wine cooler.
Overheating Electrical Component
Symptom
Clicking or ticking noise from the compressor area; compressor repeatedly tries to start and stops.
Compressor Hard Start / Overload Cycling
Symptom
Condensation forming on the glass door or around the door frame.
Door Condensation / Thermal Bridge
Symptom
Display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Unresponsive Touchpad / Keypad Failure
Symptom
Door does not close properly or pops open slightly after being shut.
Door Alignment / Hinge or Gasket Issue
Symptom
Dual-zone wine cooler shows large temperature difference between zones or zones are reversed (upper colder than lower, etc.).
Dual-Zone Airflow or Sensor Misconfiguration
Symptom
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the back wall or around the evaporator.
Frost Accumulation / Defrost System Issue
Symptom
Glass door appears foggy or has condensation between the glass panes.
Failed Door Glass Seal / Insulated Glass Unit Leak
Symptom
High-pitched squealing or grinding noise from inside the cabinet.
Evaporator Fan Motor Bearing Failure
Symptom
Interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but cooling works normally.
Interior LED Lighting Failure
Symptom
Interior temperature fluctuates widely; some bottles too warm while others are too cold.
Poor Air Circulation / Temperature Stratification
Symptom
Strong musty or moldy odor inside the wine cooler.
Microbial Growth / Odor Contamination
Symptom
Temperature display is inaccurate compared to a separate thermometer inside the cabinet.
Temperature Calibration / Sensor Drift
Symptom
Unit cycles on and off very frequently (short cycling), even when temperature is stable.
Short Cycling / Control Hysteresis Issue
Symptom
Unit emits a loud buzzing or humming noise from the back that is louder than normal compressor operation.
Noisy Condenser Fan or Vibrating Condenser Coil
Symptom
Unit makes loud rattling or vibrating noises during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Loose Components
Symptom
Unit runs continuously and rarely shuts off, but interior temperature is acceptable.
Extended Run Time / Inefficient Operation
Symptom
Unit trips the circuit breaker or GFCI outlet when it starts.
Electrical Short or Ground Fault
Symptom
Water pooling at the bottom of the cabinet or leaking onto the floor in front of the wine cooler.
Drainage / Condensate Leak
Symptom
Wine cooler does not power on at all; display is blank and no lights or fans run.
No Power / Dead Unit
Symptom
Wine cooler not cooling at all; interior at room temperature, display powered.
Compressor Not Running
Symptom
Wine cooler runs but does not get cold enough; interior stays above 60°F even after many hours.
Loss of Cooling Capacity / Sealed System Underperformance
