Steps:

• Check for obstructions: Ensure no bottles or shelves protrude and contact the door.
• Level the unit: Adjust leveling legs so the cooler is slightly tilted back, helping the door close and seal.
• Inspect hinges: Check that hinge screws are tight and that the door is not sagging. Loosen screws slightly, adjust the door position, and retighten.
• Examine gasket: Look for twisted, torn, or hardened sections of the door gasket. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer and reshape if slightly deformed.
• Replace gasket if needed: If the gasket is damaged or will not seal, install a new EdgeStar-compatible door gasket.

Test: Close the door on a strip of paper at various points; you should feel resistance when pulling it out.
