How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before accessing any control boards.
- Access boards: Remove the rear service panel to reach the main control board and remove the front control panel to access the display/user interface board.
- Check harness: Locate the multi‑wire communication harness between the two boards. Ensure both ends are fully seated and free of corrosion.
- Inspect cable: Look for pinched, cut, or abraded sections of the cable, especially where it passes through the cabinet.
- Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the harness at both boards to ensure a solid connection.
- Board substitution: If CF persists, replace the display board first (often the more common failure). If the problem remains, replace the main control board.
