Possible Causes
Open or shorted upper zone NTC sensor, Damaged harness between upper sensor and PCB, Corroded connector at sensor, Faulty PCB input for upper zone
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing interior panels.
- Locate upper zone sensor: In dual-zone models, the upper zone sensor is usually behind the upper rear interior panel or side wall cover.
- Inspect and reseat: Remove the cover, locate the sensor probe, and check the wiring for damage. Reseat the connector at both ends.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance at the current temperature. Compare with Gorenje specifications or typical NTC values. Replace if out of range.
- Reassemble and test: Install a new sensor if needed, reassemble the panel, restore power, and verify that F1 clears and the upper zone cools correctly.
