Possible Causes
Stuck relay on main PCB keeping compressor on, Faulty temperature sensor reading too warm, Control calibration error, Incorrect setpoint or demo mode disabled incorrectly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal components.
- Verify setpoint: Confirm that the temperature is not set too low for the wine type. Adjust to recommended values (typically 5–18°C depending on zone).
- Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then reconnect to clear any temporary control glitches.
- Check sensor accuracy: Place an accurate thermometer inside and compare to the displayed temperature. If the display is significantly higher than actual, the sensor may be faulty (see E1/E2/E3 procedures).
- Inspect PCB relay: If the compressor runs almost constantly and the cabinet is too cold, the compressor relay on the PCB may be stuck closed. Replace the main control PCB if this is confirmed.
