How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before inspecting the switch.
- Check door alignment: Ensure the door fully contacts the switch plunger or magnet area when closed.
- Test switch: Remove the switch and test continuity while pressing and releasing it. Replace if it does not change state.
- Inspect wiring: Look for shorted wires that could be feeding the light permanently.
- PCB check: If the switch is good but the light remains on, the PCB light driver may be shorted and the board should be replaced.
