Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning or accessing the rear.

• Clean condenser: Vacuum and brush the condenser coil thoroughly to restore airflow.
• Check condenser fan: Ensure the fan runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace the fan motor if it is slow, noisy, or not running.
• Inspect door gasket: Close the door on a sheet of paper and pull it out around the perimeter. If it slides out easily, the gasket may be warped or torn and should be replaced.
• Monitor frost pattern: With the rear interior panel removed briefly, observe the evaporator coil after 10–15 minutes of running. A healthy system will show even frost across most of the coil. Frost only at the inlet or no frost suggests a sealed-system problem (refrigerant leak or restriction) that must be handled by a licensed technician.
