How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the wine cooler before removing any panels.
- Locate lower zone sensor: Find the sensor probe in the lower compartment, typically on the rear wall.
- Visual check: Ensure the sensor is intact and not covered by bottles or shelves that could trap heat.
- Inspect wiring: Follow the sensor cable to where it exits the cabinet. Look for damage or moisture.
- Test and replace sensor: Measure resistance and compare to specification. If faulty, install a Hotpoint-compatible lower zone NTC sensor.
- Check board connection: Reseat the lower zone sensor connector on the main PCB.
- If E13 remains: The main control board may be defective and should be checked by a technician.
