How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any standing water to prevent slipping.
- Locate drain hole: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain hole or channel at the rear bottom area.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or plastic straw to gently clear debris from the drain. Do not use sharp metal objects.
- Check rear drain tube and pan: Remove the rear panel and verify the drain tube is connected from the cabinet to the evaporator tray above the compressor.
- Clean drain pan: Empty and clean the pan if full of sludge or mold.
- Reduce humidity load: Avoid leaving the door open for long periods and ensure the door gasket seals properly.
