3. Inspect cable and connectors: Ensure the ribbon cable is fully seated and not kinked or torn. Reseat the cable at both the keypad and main board ends.
4. Visual inspection: Look for corrosion, burn marks, or cracked components on the keypad PCB. If the panel is physically damaged or buttons do not respond, replacement is recommended.
5. Replace keypad/control panel: Order the correct front control panel assembly for your Kalamera model. Transfer any decorative trim as needed and reconnect the ribbon cable carefully.
6. Test: Reassemble the door or panel, restore power, and verify that the F1 code is cleared and that all buttons respond properly.

Display shows F1 and the touch controls may be unresponsive or erratic.
