Wine cooler interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed.

Steps:

• 1. Check control settings: Some models allow the light to be forced on. Press the light button to cycle through modes (on/off/door-controlled) and see if the behavior changes.
• 2. Inspect door switch: Locate the door switch or magnetic sensor. Ensure it is not jammed or damaged. Test continuity with a multimeter while opening and closing the door.
• 3. Adjust door alignment: If using a magnetic sensor, verify that the door magnet aligns correctly with the sensor when closed. Adjust hinges or magnet position as needed.
• 4. Replace faulty switch: If the switch does not change state, replace it with a compatible Kalamera door switch or reed sensor.
• 5. Control board evaluation: If the switch is working but the light remains on, the light control circuit on the main board may be shorted. Replace the main control board if necessary.
