• 3. Inspect compressor mounts: Remove the rear panel and verify that the compressor mounting bolts or rubber grommets are intact and tight. Replace worn grommets if the compressor is rattling.
• 4. Secure refrigerant lines: Look for copper lines that may be touching each other or the cabinet. Gently bend them away from contact points and add foam or rubber spacers to prevent vibration noise.
• 5. Check interior components: Ensure shelves, racks, and the evaporator fan shroud are firmly seated. Tighten any loose screws.
• 6. Test: Restore power and listen for improvement. Minor humming is normal; loud rattling should be eliminated.
