Possible Causes
Door left open or not sealing, Recent warm loading of bottles, Failed compressor or cooling module, Refrigerant leak in sealed system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: H1 is an alarm condition, not always a hardware failure. Still, inspect carefully.
- Check the door: Ensure the door is fully closing and the gasket is not obstructed by shelves or bottles. Look for gaps or torn gasket sections.
- Recent usage: If you recently loaded many warm bottles, allow 12–24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Avoid frequent door openings.
- Verify cooling operation: Listen for the compressor or cooling module and internal fan. If they never run, investigate compressor start components, power board, or thermostat settings.
- Inspect for frost or oil: Heavy frost on only part of the evaporator or oily residue near tubing joints can indicate a sealed system issue, which requires a technician.
- Clear alarm: Many Luma models allow you to silence H1 by pressing and holding the alarm or power button. If the alarm returns repeatedly with poor cooling, service is needed.
