Possible Causes
Blocked ventilation, Extremely dirty condenser coils, Failing condenser fan, High ambient room temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug before cleaning and moving the unit.
- Improve airflow: Pull the Luma cooler away from walls and ensure recommended clearances on all sides.
- Clean condenser: Remove the rear panel and thoroughly clean dust from the condenser coils and fan area.
- Check condenser fan: Confirm the Luma condenser fan motor runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace if not operating.
- Room temperature: Ensure the cooler is not installed in a very hot environment (e.g., garage in summer) beyond its rated ambient range.
Some warmth on the side walls is normal, but surfaces too hot to touch comfortably indicate a ventilation or fan problem.
