Possible Causes
Clogged condensate drain tube, Disconnected drain hose, Cracked drain pan, Excessive door openings causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the unit and mop up any standing water to prevent slipping.
- Locate the drain: Inside the cabinet, find the small drain hole at the rear bottom or under the evaporator cover.
- Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible wire to gently clear debris from the drain hole. Flush with a small amount of warm water using a turkey baster.
- Check rear drain tube: From the back, locate the drain tube leading to the drain pan. Ensure it is connected and not kinked.
- Inspect drain pan: Verify the Luma drain pan is not cracked and is properly seated above the compressor.
After clearing, monitor for a few days to ensure water properly collects in the pan and evaporates.
