Possible Causes
High ambient humidity, Door gasket not sealing properly, Failed heated door frame (if equipped), Poor door insulation or failed door seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks, but unplug if removing trims.
- Check room humidity: Use a dehumidifier or improve ventilation if the room is very humid.
- Inspect gasket: Ensure the door gasket is clean and flexible. Clean with mild soap and warm water, and replace if cracked or deformed.
- Verify door heater (if present): Some Pevino models have a heated door frame. If the frame feels cold and condensation is heavy, the door heater circuit or main control board may be faulty and require service.
- Door replacement: If the glass appears fogged between panes, the door's internal seal has failed and the entire door assembly should be replaced.
