Possible Causes

Loose wiring harness between display PCB and main PCB, Failed main control board, Failed display/control PCB, Oxidized connector pins at control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Pevino wine cooler from the mains before removing any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

  • Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in to see if the E0 code clears. Sometimes a control lockup can be reset this way.
  • Check control panel connections: Remove the front control panel (usually held by screws from inside the door trim). Inspect the ribbon cable or wiring harness going from the display PCB to the main control board. Reseat both ends firmly.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for moisture or corrosion on the connectors at the main PCB (typically located at the rear or bottom of Pevino wine coolers). Clean lightly with electronic contact cleaner and a soft brush, then reconnect.
  • Check for burnt components: Examine the main control board for burnt spots, bulging capacitors, or damaged tracks. If any are found, the board should be replaced rather than repaired in‑home.
  • Replace suspect board: If wiring is intact and the error persists, replace the display/control PCB first (lower cost), then the main control board if needed. Always match the part number printed on the original Pevino board.
