Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning or removing panels.
- Check installation: Ensure the Pevino wine cooler has adequate clearance around the sides, top, and rear as specified in the manual. Do not install in enclosed cabinets without ventilation.
- Clean condenser: Remove the rear lower panel and vacuum dust from the condenser coil and surrounding area.
- Verify condenser fan operation: After cleaning, power the unit and confirm the condenser fan runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace the condenser fan motor if it does not run.
- Monitor ambient temperature: Ensure the room temperature is within the recommended range for the model. Extremely hot rooms can trigger overtemperature protection.
- Refrigeration check: If airflow is good but the unit still overheats, a sealed system issue (low refrigerant, restriction) may exist. This requires a licensed refrigeration technician.
