Possible Causes
Clogged defrost drain tube, Cracked drain pan, Excessive condensation from door gasket leak, Unit not level causing water to overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooler and mop up standing water to prevent slipping.
- Level the unit: Use a spirit level to ensure the Pevino cooler is slightly tilted back so water flows to the drain. Adjust front leveling feet as needed.
- Clear drain hole: Remove interior back panel if necessary and locate the defrost drain hole at the bottom of the evaporator tray. Flush with warm water and clear with a flexible brush or pipe cleaner.
- Inspect drain tube and pan: From the rear, check that the drain tube leads to the external drain pan above the compressor and is not kinked or disconnected. Replace a cracked drain pan if leaking.
- Check door gasket: Replace a leaking door gasket to reduce excess condensation.
