E9
Display shows E9, furnace will not operate
Low water pressure / water pressure sensor fault
Symptom
Condensate water dripping from flue joints or outside the condensate pipe
Condensate leakage from flue or trap
Symptom
Furnace display shows normal operation but radiators are only warm at the top and cold at the bottom
Sludge accumulation in radiators
Symptom
Furnace does not power on at all, display is blank
No power / dead appliance
Symptom
Furnace emits a burning smell or plastic smell during operation
Overheating of electrical or plastic components
Symptom
Furnace frequently starts and stops (short cycling) without maintaining stable temperature
Short cycling due to oversizing or control issues
Symptom
Furnace is running but there is no domestic hot water at taps
No DHW production
Symptom
Furnace is very noisy during operation (whistling, roaring, or droning sound)
Combustion or fan noise
Symptom
Furnace makes loud banging or knocking noises when starting or stopping
Kettling / rapid boiling in heat exchanger
Symptom
Furnace runs but room temperature overshoots setpoint significantly
Poor temperature control / overshoot
Symptom
Furnace runs but some radiators stay cold or only lukewarm
Poor circulation / system imbalance
Symptom
Furnace starts but shuts down after a few seconds without showing an error code
Unstable flame / marginal ignition
Symptom
Radiators get hot even when the room thermostat is turned down or off
Uncontrolled heating / boiler firing without demand
Symptom
System pressure rises rapidly when heating and relief valve discharges water
Expansion vessel failure
Symptom
Water leaking from the bottom of the furnace casing
Internal water leak
