Thermostat display shows E1 and will not control heating; set temperature changes have no effect.
Room Temperature Sensor Fault
E2
Thermostat shows E2 and heating does not respond correctly; temperature reading may be frozen or unrealistic.
Floor / External Sensor Fault
E3
Thermostat displays E3 and heating output is disabled or erratic; may occur on models with multiple sensors (room + floor).
Sensor Range / Calibration Error
E4
Thermostat shows E4 and will not operate heating; may be accompanied by blank or flickering temperature display.
Internal Power Supply / Voltage Fault
E5
Thermostat displays E5 and fails to control heating; may occur after a power surge or wiring change.
Relay / Output Driver Fault
E6
Thermostat shows E6 and cannot complete normal operation; may be accompanied by frozen screen or unresponsive buttons.
Firmware / Internal Memory Error

Thermostat displays E7 and may shut down or refuse to operate; often associated with high ambient temperature or poor ventilation.
Overtemperature Protection / Internal Overheat

Thermostat shows E8 and cannot communicate with associated devices or complete setup.

ERR
Thermostat shows generic 'ERR' on the display and does not follow programmed schedule.

FLOOR HI
Thermostat shows 'FLOOR HI' or similar warning and shuts off heating in underfloor mode.
Floor Temperature High Limit Exceeded

Floor Temperature Low / Sensor Under-range
GATEWAY
