E08
Dryer displays E08 and may stop heating; often associated with very long drying times on condenser models.
Condenser Airflow / Fan Motor Fault
E09
Dryer shows E09 and will not start; sometimes appears after a power cut or surge.
Power Supply / Voltage Error
E10
Dryer stops with E10; on heat pump models, may be accompanied by no heat and compressor not running.
Heat Pump System Fault (Heat Pump Dryer)
E11
Dryer displays E11 and may stop shortly after starting; some models show erratic time remaining.
Moisture Sensor Circuit Fault
E12
Dryer shows E12 and may not respond to button presses correctly; display may flicker.
User Interface / Control Panel Fault
E13
Dryer stops with E13; on some models, the drum may stop suddenly as if jammed.

E14
Dryer displays E14 and may stop heating; often associated with very short cycle times.
Exhaust / Airflow Sensor Fault
E15
Dryer shows E15 and will not start; sometimes appears after the door has been slammed or the unit has been moved.
Door Lock Circuit Error (Advanced Models)
E16
Dryer displays E16 and may stop mid-cycle; some models may show erratic drum speed.
Motor Overload / Overcurrent Fault
E17
Dryer shows E17 and may not respond to program selection; display may be frozen.
Software / EEPROM Error
E18
Dryer displays E18; on some models, the internal light and controls may flicker.
Ground / Earth Fault Detection
E19
Dryer shows E19 and may stop shortly after starting; often associated with unusual noises from the base on condenser models.
Sump Float / Anti-Flood System Activated (Condenser / Heat Pump)
E20
Dryer displays E20 and may not heat correctly; some models may show inconsistent drying results.
Dual NTC Sensor Mismatch / Calibration Error
Symptom
Dryer display and controls reset or flicker when the heater turns on.
Voltage Drop / Poor Electrical Connection
Symptom
Dryer display works but shows incorrect remaining time that jumps up or down unexpectedly.
Sensor-Based Time Estimation Anomaly
Symptom
Dryer door pops open during the cycle, stopping the program.
Weak Door Catch or Misaligned Door
Symptom
Dryer door will not open at the end of the cycle; door appears stuck closed.
Mechanical Door Latch Jam
Symptom
Dryer drum does not turn, but you can hear the motor humming when a cycle is started.
Broken or Slipped Drive Belt
Symptom
Dryer drum light stays on even when the door is closed, or never comes on at all.
Door Switch or Drum Light Circuit Fault
Symptom
Dryer emits a burning smell during operation, with or without visible smoke.
Overheating Due to Lint Build-Up or Electrical Overheating
Symptom
Dryer leaks water onto the floor during or after a cycle (condenser or heat pump models).
Condensate Drainage / Tank System Leak
Symptom
Dryer makes a rattling or metallic clinking noise during operation.
Foreign Object in Drum or Fan Housing
Symptom
Dryer powers on but will not start a cycle; pressing the start button does nothing, no error code.
Start Circuit / User Interface Fault
Symptom
Dryer produces a loud banging or thumping noise, especially with larger loads.
Drum Imbalance or Loose Drum Baffle
Symptom
Dryer produces a musty or unpleasant odour on clothes after drying.
Bacterial / Lint Build-Up in Air Path
Symptom
Dryer runs but does not heat; clothes remain cold and damp at the end of the cycle, no error code displayed.
Open Heating Element or Tripped Thermal Cut-Out
Symptom
Dryer runs but makes a loud squealing or screeching noise during operation.
Worn Drum Support Components
Symptom
Dryer runs but the drum occasionally slips or stops while the motor continues to run.
Worn or Stretched Drive Belt / Slipping Belt
Symptom
Dryer stops after a few minutes and clothes are still very wet; restarting works briefly then stops again, no code.
Motor Overheating / Thermal Protector Tripping
Symptom
Dryer stops early and clothes are still damp, but the display shows the cycle as finished.
Moisture Sensor Misreading (Premature Dry Detection)
Symptom
Dryer takes excessively long to dry clothes; loads are still damp after the normal program finishes, but some heat is present.
Restricted Airflow / Partial Blockage
Symptom
Dryer vibrates excessively or moves across the floor during operation.
