Door Interlock Safety Circuit Fault
E02
Microwave stops heating shortly after start and displays E02 or will not start heating at all with E02 on the display.
Thermal Cut-Out (TCO) / Overheat Protection Trip
E03
Microwave runs (light and turntable on) but does not heat food; E03 appears on the display after a few seconds.
Magnetron / High Voltage Circuit Failure
E04
Microwave display shows E04 and the unit will not start; sometimes accompanied by a loud hum or tripping the household breaker.
High Voltage Short / Overcurrent Protection
E05
Microwave beeps and shows E05; keypad does not respond or only some buttons work.
Keypad / Membrane Switch Failure
E06
Microwave shows E06 and will not start; sometimes occurs after a power surge or lightning storm.
Control PCB Communication / Logic Error
E07
Microwave displays E07 and stops mid-cycle; fan may continue running briefly.
Cavity Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Fault
E08
Microwave shows E08 and does not start; grill or convection functions may be disabled on combi models.
Grill / Convection Temperature Sensor or Overheat Fault
E09
Microwave displays E09 and will not start; sometimes appears when using weight or sensor cooking modes.
Weight Sensor / Load Sensor Fault (where fitted)
E10
Microwave shows E10 and beeps; door may appear closed but unit refuses to run.
Door Latch / Door Sensing Error
E11
Microwave displays E11; turntable does not rotate, or rotation is jerky and noisy.
Turntable Motor / Rotation Fault
E12
Microwave shows E12; interior light, fan, or turntable may not operate correctly.
Low-Voltage Power Supply / Auxiliary Load Fault
E13
Microwave displays E13 when using sensor cook or auto reheat; cycle aborts early.
Humidity / Steam Sensor Fault (sensor cook models)
E14
Microwave shows E14 and will not start; may occur after door is opened and closed rapidly.
Monitor Switch / Safety Interlock Error
E15
Microwave displays E15; clock and basic functions may work but cooking modes fail to start.
Relay Drive / Output Stage Fault
Symptom
Microwave buttons respond intermittently or require very hard presses.
Worn Membrane Keypad
Symptom
Microwave cavity has persistent bad odours even after cleaning.
Odour Retention / Cavity Contamination
Symptom
Microwave clock and settings reset to default after each use or when door is opened.
Power Retention / Backup Circuit Fault
Symptom
Microwave display is on but pressing START does nothing; no relay click, no fan or light.
Start Circuit / Control Logic Fault
Symptom
Microwave display is very dim or flickering, but unit still operates.
Display Backlight / Power Supply Degradation
Symptom
Microwave display works but time counts down extremely fast or extremely slow compared to real time.
Timing / Clock Circuit Error
Symptom
Microwave does not start at all; display is blank and no lights or sounds.
No Power – Primary Power Circuit Failure
Symptom
Microwave door glass or inner panel shows condensation or moisture build-up during and after cooking.
Normal Condensation / Ventilation Issue
Symptom
Microwave door will not open or is stuck closed after cooking.
Door Latch Mechanism Jammed
Symptom
Microwave door will not stay closed or pops open during cooking.
Door Latch / Hinge Misalignment
Symptom
Microwave emits unusual noises from the turntable area, such as grinding or scraping.
Turntable Support / Roller Ring Damage
Symptom
Microwave exterior or control panel becomes very hot to touch during use.
Inadequate Ventilation / Cooling System Issue
Symptom
Microwave fan runs loudly or squeals during operation.
Cooling Fan Motor Wear or Obstruction
Symptom
Microwave grill function (on combi models) does not heat, but microwave mode works.
Grill Element Failure
Symptom
Microwave heats but takes much longer than normal to cook food; items are lukewarm instead of hot.
Reduced Output – Weak Magnetron or Power Supply Issue
Symptom
Microwave interior light does not come on, but unit heats and otherwise works normally.
Cavity Lamp Failure
Symptom
Microwave interior light is on, fan runs, but turntable does not rotate.
Turntable Drive Failure
Symptom
Microwave makes a crackling, arcing, or popping sound inside the cavity during cooking.
Cavity Arcing / Waveguide Contamination
Symptom
Microwave makes loud buzzing or humming noise when cooking, louder than usual, sometimes with vibration.
Excessive Noise from High Voltage Transformer or Magnetron
Symptom
Microwave runs (light, fan, and turntable operate) but food does not heat at all.
No Heating – High Voltage System Failure
Symptom
Microwave runs but fan does not operate, causing rapid overheating and possible shutdown.
Cooling Fan Not Running
Symptom
Microwave runs but there is a strong burning or electrical smell.
Overheating Component or Cavity Contamination
Symptom
Microwave stops mid-cycle and resets, or the household circuit breaker trips during use.
