C1
C1 or similar calibration code appears and the cooker will not start normal programs.
Temperature Calibration Error
E1
Multicooker beeps and displays E1 shortly after starting any cooking program; heating does not begin or stops immediately.
Bottom Temperature Sensor Open/Disconnected
E2
Display shows E2 and the cooker will not start or stops heating mid-cycle, often during sauté or high-temperature modes.
Bottom Temperature Sensor Short/Overheat Detection
E3
E3 appears on the display and the cooker shuts down or refuses to start, often after a long cooking cycle or when the unit is very hot.
Overtemperature Protection / Thermal Cutoff Triggered
E4
Display shows E4 and the cooker will not build pressure or start the selected program.
Lid Temperature Sensor Fault
E5
E5 error appears when trying to start a pressure cooking program; unit may heat briefly but will not proceed to full pressure.
Pressure Sensor Circuit Fault
E6
E6 displays and the cooker stops heating or will not start; may occur when switching between modes or after a power surge.
Control PCB Communication / Internal Fault
E7
E7 appears and the cooker will not enter or maintain pressure; may beep repeatedly and cancel the program.
Abnormal Pressure Reading / Overpressure Detection
E8
E8 error appears when trying to start a program; unit may not recognize that the lid is properly closed.
Lid Lock / Lid Position Switch Fault
E9
E9 displays and the cooker will not heat; sometimes occurs after a tripped breaker or lightning storm.
Power Supply / Triac Drive Fault
Err
Generic "Err" or "Error" message on display; cooker beeps and refuses to start any program.
General Control System Error
HOT
Display shows "HOT" and the cooker will not start a new program or quickly cancels sauté/pressure modes.
Excessive Inner Pot Temperature Detected
LID
Display shows a lid-related message (e.g., "LID" or flashing lid icon) and the cooker will not start a pressure program.
Lid Not Detected / Lid Not Closed
noP
Display shows "noP" or similar and the cooker fails to reach or maintain pressure; cooking time may not count down.
No Pressure Detected / Pressure Not Reached
OPEN
Display shows "OPEN" or similar message and the cooker refuses to start a pressure program even though the lid appears closed.
Open-Lid Safety Interlock Activated
PrE
Display shows "PrE" or preheat-related error; unit stays in preheat and never starts the countdown.
Preheat Timeout / Pressure Build Failure
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or require very hard presses to register.
Keypad / Tact Switch Failure
Symptom
Condensation drips from the lid edge onto the counter during cooking, even when not overfilled.
Condensation Management / Collector Misalignment
Symptom
Display and buttons work, but selected programs cancel immediately or revert to standby without starting.
Program Start Interlock / Mode Logic Fault
Symptom
Display is very dim, flickers, or some segments are missing, but the cooker still heats.
Display Module / Backlight Failure
Symptom
Exterior of the multicooker, especially the sides or bottom, becomes excessively hot to the touch during normal operation.
Insulation / Thermal Shielding Degradation
Symptom
Float valve does not rise during pressure cooking, and steam leaks continuously from its opening.
Float Valve Seal Failure / Sticking
Symptom
Food is consistently undercooked or overcooked compared to recipe times, even when using correct settings.
Temperature / Pressure Regulation Inaccuracy
Symptom
Inner pot coating is peeling, scratched, or flaking, and food sticks badly.
Nonstick Coating Degradation
Symptom
Lid is stuck and will not open after cooking; float valve appears down and there is no visible steam.
Lid Mechanism Jam / Residual Vacuum
Symptom
Multicooker does not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.
No Power / Dead Unit
Symptom
Multicooker emits a burning smell or visible smoke from the base or lid during operation.
Overheating / Electrical Insulation Failure
Symptom
Multicooker heats but will not build pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid area during pressure cooking.
Lid Seal Failure / Steam Leak
Symptom
Multicooker makes loud clicking, popping, or metallic noises during heating or pressure cooking.
Thermal Expansion Noise / Loose Internal Components
Symptom
Multicooker powers on but will not heat in any mode (pressure, sauté, slow cook); timer counts down but food remains uncooked.
Heating Element or Drive Circuit Failure
Symptom
Multicooker trips the household circuit breaker or GFCI outlet when starting a cooking program.
Short Circuit / Ground Fault
Symptom
Steam or liquid spurts from the steam release valve more violently than usual during pressure cooking or release.
Blocked Anti-Block Shield / Restricted Steam Path
Symptom
Steam release valve is difficult to turn or feels stuck in one position.
Steam Release Valve Mechanical Binding
Symptom
Timer does not count down during pressure cooking; unit appears to stay in preheat indefinitely, but some pressure is present.
Pressure Level Not Reaching Setpoint
Symptom
Unit beeps repeatedly and will not start when the inner pot is removed or not seated correctly.
Inner Pot Presence Detection Issue
Symptom
Unit switches to "Keep Warm" prematurely, long before food is cooked, without any error code.
Premature Cycle Termination
Symptom
Water or food leaks from the bottom of the multicooker onto the counter during or after cooking.
Internal Leak / Condensation Misrouting
