E10
Microwave displays E10 and will not accept input; sometimes buttons beep but no functions start.
EEPROM / Control Board Memory Error
E2
Microwave beeps and displays E2; cooking does not start or stops shortly after starting.
Secondary / Monitor Door Switch Fault
E3
Microwave shows E3 and will not heat; fan may run briefly then stop.
Magnetron Overheat or Magnetron Circuit Fault
E4
Microwave displays E4 and stops heating; internal light and turntable may still operate.
High-Voltage Circuit Failure (Capacitor/Diode/Transformer)
E5
Microwave shows E5 and will not start; sometimes accompanied by a humming noise and immediate shutdown.
Inverter Board Fault (on inverter-style Ambiano models)
E6
Microwave displays E6; keypad and display may freeze or respond erratically.
Control Panel / Keypad Communication Error
E7
Microwave shows E7 and stops; internal light may stay on, but cooking does not start.
Cavity Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Error
E8
Microwave displays E8; fan may run continuously or not at all; unit may refuse to start.
Cooling Fan Motor or Airflow Error
E9
Microwave shows E9; unit may shut down mid-cycle and require unplugging to reset.
Line Voltage or Power Supply Error
Err
Display shows Err or ERROR when trying to start or program cooking.
General Control Error / Invalid Input
H0
Microwave display shows H0 or HO; unit does not start and may beep when START is pressed.
Child Lock / Control Lock Activated
PF
Microwave displays PF or "Power Failure" after an outage; clock may flash.
Power Interruption Notification
SE
Microwave displays SE or "SENSOR" error and stops cooking, often during sensor cook or reheat modes.
Humidity / Steam Sensor Fault
Symptom
Condensation or water droplets form on the inside of the door and around the cavity after cooking.
Normal Condensation / Ventilation Issue
Symptom
Microwave clock loses time or resets intermittently without a full power outage.
Unstable Low-Voltage Power Supply
Symptom
Microwave display is dim, flickering, or partially unreadable, but cooking functions still work.
Display / VFD / LED Backlight Degradation
Symptom
Microwave display works but START button does nothing; no relay click, no fan, no light change.
Start Circuit / Keypad Failure
Symptom
Microwave does not start at all; display is blank and no lights or sounds when door is opened or buttons are pressed.
No Power – Line Fuse or Thermal Fuse Open
Symptom
Microwave door glass is cracked or shattered, but the unit still powers on.
Door Assembly Damage / Safety Compromise
Symptom
Microwave door is difficult to open or does not latch smoothly; sometimes requires slamming to start.
Door Latch / Hook Wear
Symptom
Microwave door will not stay closed or pops open during cooking.
Door Catch / Spring Failure
Symptom
Microwave emits sparks or arcing inside the cavity during cooking.
Cavity Arcing / Waveguide Contamination
Symptom
Microwave exterior (top or sides) becomes excessively hot to the touch during normal use.
Inadequate Ventilation / Cooling Failure
Symptom
Microwave fan runs but there is no interior light and no turntable movement, and food does not heat.
Relay or Control Board Partial Failure
Symptom
Microwave interior light does not come on when the door is opened or during cooking, but the unit heats normally.
Cavity Lamp Failure
Symptom
Microwave interior light, fan, and turntable run when the door is closed, even without pressing START.
Door Switch Circuit Shorted or Miswired
Symptom
Microwave interior paint is peeling or rust is visible inside the cavity.
Cavity Coating Degradation / Corrosion
Symptom
Microwave is unusually loud during operation, with rattling or vibration noises.
Mechanical Vibration / Loose Components
Symptom
Microwave keypad buttons do not respond or only some buttons work intermittently.
Membrane Keypad Wear or Moisture Intrusion
Symptom
Microwave light and fan come on when START is pressed, but the turntable does not rotate.
Turntable Drive Failure
Symptom
Microwave produces a strong burning or electrical smell during or after use.
Overheating Component or Cavity Contamination
Symptom
Microwave runs but does not heat food; turntable and light work, timer counts down normally.
No Heat – Magnetron / High-Voltage Failure
Symptom
Microwave runs but food heats unevenly; some spots are very hot while others remain cold.
Uneven Heating / Turntable or Stirrer Issue
Symptom
Microwave runs but makes a loud buzzing or humming noise, louder than normal, sometimes accompanied by a burning smell.
High-Voltage Component Short or Magnetron Failure
Symptom
Microwave stops mid-cycle and completely shuts off; after a few minutes it may turn back on by itself.
Overheating – Thermal Cut-Out Tripping
Symptom
Microwave trips the household circuit breaker or blows a fuse when starting.
Short Circuit or Overcurrent on Startup
