AL
Freezer beeps and displays AL or an alarm icon; interior temperature is too high and food may be soft or thawing.
High Temperature Alarm Condition
dF
Display shows dF or a defrost icon for an extended period; freezer may warm slightly during this time.
Defrost Mode Indication / Stuck in Defrost
E1
Freezer displays E1 and interior temperature rises above setpoint, compressor does not start or starts briefly then stops.
Cabinet Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E10
Freezer displays E10 and the display or buttons may not respond correctly; temperature cannot be adjusted.
User Interface / Display Board Communication Error
E2
Freezer displays E2, runs continuously or not at all, and temperature is unstable or incorrect compared to the set value.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E3
Freezer shows E3 and may not defrost properly, leading to heavy ice build-up on the evaporator and poor cooling.
Defrost Sensor / Thermal Fuse Fault
E4
Freezer displays E4 and may not defrost; ice accumulates on the evaporator, fan noise increases, and cooling performance drops.
Defrost Heater Circuit Failure
E5
Freezer shows E5 and may not respond correctly to temperature adjustments; display may show incorrect or fluctuating readings.
Ambient / Room Temperature Sensor Fault
E6
Freezer displays E6 and may not recognize door open/closed status; interior light may stay on or off incorrectly, and alarm may sound continuously.
Door Switch / Door Sensor Failure
E7
Freezer shows E7 and the fan may not run, or runs erratically; cooling may be weak and uneven.
Evaporator Fan Motor Fault
E8
Freezer displays E8 and may not start the compressor; unit stays warm despite power and lights working.
Compressor Start / Inverter Communication Error
E9
Freezer shows E9 and may run continuously without reaching set temperature, or may short-cycle frequently.
Main Control Board Fault / EEPROM Error
Symptom
Buttons on the freezer control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Touch Control Failure
Symptom
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the interior walls, baskets, and around the door opening.
Air Infiltration / Door Gasket Leak
Symptom
Freezer baskets or drawers are stuck and difficult to pull out due to ice buildup.
Drawer Icing / Localized Frost
Symptom
Freezer display is blank or segments are missing, but the unit still cools.
Display Module Failure
Symptom
Freezer door does not stay closed or pops open slightly after being shut.
Door Alignment / Hinge or Gasket Issue
Symptom
Freezer door is difficult to open immediately after closing; a vacuum seems to hold it shut.
Normal Pressure Equalization / Check Valve Issue
Symptom
Freezer emits a strong chemical or refrigerant-like smell, especially near the back.
Possible Refrigerant Leak
Symptom
Freezer exterior side walls feel very hot to the touch during operation.
High Cabinet Surface Temperature
Symptom
Freezer frequently trips the household circuit breaker or blows fuses when it starts.
Electrical Overload / Short Circuit
Symptom
Freezer has a persistent bad odor inside, even though it cools normally.
Interior Odor / Contamination
Symptom
Freezer interior is warm at the top but very cold at the bottom; uneven freezing of food.
Poor Air Circulation / Evaporator Fan Issue
Symptom
Freezer interior is warm, but compressor and fans are not running; display may be blank or flickering.
No Power / Control System Failure
Symptom
Freezer interior light does not work when door is opened, but cooling is normal.
Interior Light Circuit Failure
Symptom
Freezer interior temperature fluctuates widely; sometimes too warm, sometimes too cold, without changes to settings.
Erratic Temperature Regulation
Symptom
Freezer is making a loud humming or buzzing noise from the back, especially when the compressor starts.
Compressor or Condenser Fan Noise
Symptom
Freezer makes a loud rattling or vibrating noise, especially when the compressor is running.
Cabinet Vibration / Loose Components
Symptom
Freezer not cooling at all; interior is at room temperature, light may work, but no cold air is felt.
Compressor Not Running
Symptom
Freezer operates but energy consumption seems unusually high; unit runs almost constantly.
High Energy Usage
Symptom
Freezer produces a high-pitched whine or squeal from inside the cabinet when running.
Evaporator Fan Noise
Symptom
Freezer runs but does not get cold enough; temperature stays around -5°C to 0°C even after many hours.
Weak Cooling / Sealed System Performance Issue
Symptom
Freezer runs continuously and becomes excessively cold; items are rock-hard and frost builds up quickly.
Thermostat / Temperature Control Failure (Mechanical or Electronic)
Symptom
Thick sheet of ice forming on the freezer floor or under the bottom basket.
Defrost Water Overflow / Drain Freeze
Symptom
Water pooling at the bottom inside the freezer or leaking onto the floor from the front.
Defrost Drain Blockage
