E01
Boiler does not ignite, burner does not start, display shows E01 shortly after a heat demand.
Ignition Failure / No Flame Detection
E02
Boiler locks out with E02, burner stops shortly after ignition or during operation.
Flame Loss During Operation
E03
Boiler shows E03 and will not start; fan may run briefly then stop.
Flue Gas / Exhaust Fan Fault
E04
Display shows E04, boiler stops heating, temperature on display may be very high.
Overheat / Safety Thermostat Tripped
E05
Boiler shows E05, no heating, temperature reading is unrealistic (very low or very high).
Flow Temperature Sensor (NTC) Fault
E06
Boiler displays E06, domestic hot water (DHW) temperature is incorrect or not regulated.
DHW Temperature Sensor (NTC) Fault
E07
Boiler shows E07, fan may not start, or starts and stops repeatedly.
Air Pressure Switch / Draft Sensor Fault
E08
Boiler shows E08, no heating, pump may run but burner does not start.
Low System Water Pressure
E09
Boiler displays E09, pressure reading is very high or fluctuates rapidly.
High System Pressure / Expansion Fault
E10
Boiler shows E10, burner does not start, pump may run briefly.
Circulation Pump Fault / No Flow
E11
Boiler displays E11, no ignition, fan may not run.
Control Board / Internal Communication Fault
E12
Boiler shows E12, burner stops, sometimes accompanied by unusual fan noise.
Flue Gas Temperature Too High
E13
Boiler displays E13, condensate may be visible around the base, burner may not start.
Condensate Drain Blocked
E14
Boiler shows E14, DHW temperature fluctuates or is too hot, heating may be unstable.
Three-Way Diverter Valve Fault
E15
Boiler displays E15, no ignition, gas smell may be present if recently serviced.
Gas Valve / Gas Supply Fault
E16
Boiler shows E16, display may flicker, boiler may reboot randomly.
Power Supply / Low Voltage Fault
E17
Boiler displays E17, outdoor temperature compensation does not work correctly.
Outdoor Temperature Sensor Fault
E18
Boiler shows E18, burner stops, sometimes accompanied by gurgling noises.
Air in System / Flow Sensor Fault
E19
Boiler displays E19, burner stops, error may appear intermittently.
Return Temperature Sensor (NTC) Fault
E20
Boiler shows E20, burner does not start, room thermostat appears to call for heat.
Room Thermostat / Communication Fault
Symptom
Boiler cycles on and off rapidly when only a small underfloor heating zone is calling.
Low Load / Flow Temperature Control Issue
Symptom
Boiler display is on but unresponsive, buttons do not work or menu is frozen.
Control Panel / User Interface Fault
Symptom
Boiler does not start at all, display is blank.
No Power / Dead Boiler
Symptom
Boiler emits a strong smell of combustion or fumes in the boiler room.
Flue Gas Leakage
Symptom
Boiler frequently locks out during very cold weather but works normally otherwise.
Weather-Related Combustion / Condensate Issues
Symptom
Boiler frequently loses pressure and needs topping up every few days.
Chronic Pressure Loss
Symptom
Boiler ignites with a loud bang (delayed ignition).
Delayed Ignition
Symptom
Boiler is very noisy during operation, with whistling or howling sounds.
Combustion Noise / Resonance
Symptom
Boiler leaking water from underneath the casing or from pipe connections.
Internal Water Leak
Symptom
Boiler makes loud banging or knocking noises when starting or stopping (kettling).
Heat Exchanger Kettling / Local Boiling
Symptom
Boiler produces central heating but no domestic hot water (DHW) on a combi model.
DHW Flow Detection / Plate Heat Exchanger Fault
Symptom
Boiler produces hot water but no central heating.
Heating Circuit Isolation / Diverter Stuck in DHW Position
Symptom
Boiler room feels excessively hot, boiler casing is very warm even when not firing.
Standby Heat Loss / Pump Overrun Issue
Symptom
Boiler runs but radiators remain cold or only lukewarm.
Insufficient Heating Output / Circulation Problem
Symptom
Boiler starts and stops frequently (short cycling) even when heating demand is present.
Short Cycling / Oversized Output
Symptom
Domestic hot water temperature is unstable, alternating between hot and cold.
DHW Temperature Regulation Problem
Symptom
Radiators are hot at the top but cold at the bottom.
Sludge Accumulation in Radiators
