E1
Ice maker will not power on or shuts off immediately after pressing the power button; E1 appears on the display.
Main Control Board Power Supply Fault
E10
E10 is displayed; unit may fill and freeze but never eject ice into the bin.
Ice Ejector or Pusher Motor Fault
E11
E11 appears and the unit may shut down shortly after starting; fan may not run.
Condenser Fan Motor Fault
E12
E12 is displayed; unit may overfill the ice tray or leak water into the bin.
Water Level Sensor or Float Switch Fault
E13
E13 appears; unit may not drain properly at the end of the cycle, leaving standing water in the tray.
Drain Sensor or End‑of‑Cycle Switch Fault
E14
E14 is displayed; unit may freeze water but ice thickness is inconsistent or too thin to harvest.
Ice Thickness Sensor or Probe Fault
E15
E15 appears; unit may not respond to button presses or may behave erratically.
User Interface Panel or Keypad Fault
E16
E16 is displayed; unit may shut down due to internal overheating even though the room temperature seems normal.
Internal Overheat Protection or Thermal Fuse Fault
E17
E17 appears; unit may run but produce very small or hollow ice cubes.
Low Water Flow or Restricted Inlet Fault
E18
E18 is displayed; unit may freeze water but ice sticks to the evaporator and will not drop.
Defrost or Harvest Heater Fault
E19
E19 appears; unit may start and then shut down with no obvious mechanical issue.
Firmware or EEPROM Configuration Fault
E2
Ice maker stops mid‑cycle and displays E2; unit may beep and not restart the ice making cycle.
Water Inlet Valve or Water Supply Fault
E20
E20 is displayed; unit may not recognize that the bin is full and may overfill with ice.
Ice Bin Full Detection Circuit Fault
E3
Unit powers on but quickly displays E3 and stops; ice making does not start or stops early.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (Thermistor) Fault
E4
Display shows E4 and the unit may run the fan but not produce ice; compressor may not start or may shut off quickly.
Compressor Overload or High Temperature Protection Fault
E5
E5 appears and the unit stops making ice; water may be present in the bin or tray but no harvest occurs.
Ice Full Sensor or Bin Level Switch Fault
E6
E6 is displayed and the unit may stop mid‑cycle; fan may run but ice production is inconsistent or absent.
Ambient Temperature Sensor Fault
E7
E7 appears and the unit may fill with water but never freeze properly; compressor may not run.
Compressor Drive or Relay Control Fault
E8
E8 is displayed; unit may start but then stop with water left on the evaporator plate and no harvest.
Harvest Motor or Ice Sweep Motor Fault
E9
E9 appears and the unit may continuously drain or fail to hold water in the freezing tray.
Drain Pump or Drain Valve Fault
Symptom
Condensation or frost forms heavily on the exterior or around the bin opening.
Excessive Condensation / Air Leak
Symptom
Evaporator plate or interior surfaces show heavy white or green scale buildup.
Mineral Scale Accumulation
Symptom
Ice cubes are cloudy or white instead of clear.
Entrained Air / Mineral Content in Ice
Symptom
Ice cubes are very small, hollow, or melt quickly in the bin.
Improper Ice Formation / Low Water Volume
Symptom
Ice cubes have a bad taste or odor (chemical, plastic, or musty).
Contaminated Water Path / Biofilm Buildup
Symptom
Ice maker cycles on and off frequently without completing full ice cycles.
Short Cycling / Control Logic Issue
Symptom
Ice maker does not turn on at all; no lights, no fan, no sound.
No Power / Line Voltage Supply Failure
Symptom
Ice maker interior or bin shows signs of mold, slime, or algae.
Microbial Contamination
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or buzzing).
Mechanical Noise / Vibration Fault
Symptom
Ice maker leaks water onto the counter or floor.
External Water Leak
Symptom
Ice maker makes ice very slowly; bin takes much longer than normal to fill.
Reduced Cooling Capacity
Symptom
Ice maker runs but does not make any ice; water does not appear on the evaporator plate.
No Water Fill / Water Supply Failure
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice; water is present on the evaporator but never freezes.
No Cooling / Refrigeration System Failure
Symptom
Ice maker runs continuously and overfills the bin with ice.
Bin Full Shutoff Failure
Symptom
Ice maker stops making ice even though the bin is not full.
False Bin Full Detection
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively or walks on the counter/floor during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Installation Fault
Symptom
Ice sticks together in large clumps in the bin.
Ice Clumping / Bin Temperature Issue
Symptom
Unit powers on but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Control Interface Failure
Symptom
Unit trips the household circuit breaker or GFCI when turned on.
Electrical Short or Ground Fault
Symptom
Water accumulates inside the unit or in the bin instead of draining properly.
Internal Drainage Failure
