E1
Air fryer will not start; display shows E1 immediately after power-on or when pressing the Start button.
NTC Temperature Sensor Open Circuit
E10
Air fryer displays E10 and will not start; may occur after a short circuit or tripped breaker event.
Internal Overcurrent / Short Circuit Protection
E2
Air fryer heats excessively or shuts down with E2 error during preheat or cooking; exterior may feel unusually hot.
NTC Temperature Sensor Short Circuit / Overtemperature Detection
E3
Display shows E3 and the air fryer does not heat; fan may still run but food remains cold.
Heating Element Circuit Open
E4
Air fryer shows E4 and shuts down shortly after starting; sometimes accompanied by a hot smell or very rapid heating.
Overheat Protection / Thermal Fuse Trip
E5
Display shows E5 and the air fryer will not start or stops mid-cycle; sometimes occurs when plugging into certain outlets.
Supply Voltage Out of Range / Power Board Protection
E6
Air fryer beeps and shows E6; fan may run but heater does not engage, or unit shuts down unexpectedly.
Fan Motor Fault / Airflow Error
E7
Display shows E7 and the air fryer will not start; sometimes appears after a power surge or lightning storm.
Internal Communication Error / MCU Fault
E8
Air fryer shows E8 and does not respond to touch inputs or buttons; display may be frozen.
Touch Control Panel Failure
E9
Display shows E9 and the unit will not start; sometimes occurs after the basket has been removed and reinserted repeatedly.
Basket Detection / Drawer Switch Fault
Symptom
Air fryer does not power on at all; no lights on the display and no response to buttons.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
Air fryer emits a strong burning plastic smell during use.
Overheating of Plastic Components / Electrical Insulation
Symptom
Air fryer overheats; food burns quickly, exterior becomes very hot, or there is a strong burning smell without an error code.
Temperature Regulation Failure
Symptom
Air fryer powers on but will not start cooking; pressing Start does nothing and no error code is shown.
Start Circuit / User Interface Logic Fault
Symptom
Air fryer runs but does not heat; fan operates and timer counts down, but food remains cold.
No Heat / Heater Not Energising
Symptom
Air fryer shuts off before the timer reaches zero; unit powers down unexpectedly.
Thermal Cutout or Power Interruption
Symptom
Beeping continuously or random beeps during operation without user input.
False Touch Detection / Alarm Circuit Fault
Symptom
Buttons or touch controls are intermittently unresponsive or trigger the wrong function.
User Interface Calibration / Contact Fault
Symptom
Condensation or small amount of liquid appears under or around the air fryer during or after cooking.
Condensation Drip / Minor Leakage
Symptom
Display and lights flicker or dim during operation; sometimes the unit resets mid-cycle.
Unstable Power / Internal Power Supply Issue
Symptom
Display is very dim or segments are missing, but the unit still heats and cooks.
Display Module Degradation
Symptom
Drawer or basket is difficult to insert or remove; it may jam or not slide smoothly.
Drawer Rail / Basket Alignment Issue
Symptom
Drawer will not close fully; the last few millimetres remain open and the unit will not start.
Drawer Latch / Switch Actuator Misalignment
Symptom
Excessive smoke from the air fryer during cooking, especially with fatty foods.
Grease Accumulation and Overheating
Symptom
Exterior of the air fryer becomes excessively hot to touch during normal cooking.
Insulation / Heat Shield Degradation
Symptom
Fan is not running; air fryer heats only near the top, food cooks unevenly, and there is little or no airflow from vents.
Fan Not Operating
Symptom
Food cooks unevenly; some areas are burnt while others are undercooked.
Uneven Airflow / Temperature Distribution
Symptom
High-pitched squealing noise when the air fryer is running.
Fan Motor Bearing Wear
Symptom
Loud rattling or grinding noise from the top of the air fryer during operation.
Fan Assembly Mechanical Noise
Symptom
Mechanical clicking or sparking sound from inside the unit when heating starts.
Electrical Arcing / Loose Connection
Symptom
Persistent bad odour (rancid or stale oil smell) from the air fryer even when not in use.
Residual Grease and Odour Contamination
Symptom
Timer counts down but heater and fan cycle on and off rapidly, causing poor cooking performance.
Control Board Regulation Instability
Symptom
Timer does not count down correctly; cooking ends too early or continues past zero.
Timing Circuit / MCU Fault
Symptom
Unit trips the household circuit breaker or RCD when turned on.
Earth Leakage / Short to Ground
