E1
Freezer beeps and shows E1 on the display; temperature cannot be adjusted correctly and interior temperature is inaccurate.
Cabinet Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E2
Display shows E2 and the freezer runs erratically; compressor may short-cycle and temperature fluctuates.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E3
Freezer shows E3 and the display temperature is obviously wrong (e.g., shows -18°C while interior is warm).
Ambient / Room Temperature Sensor Failure
E4
E4 appears on the display and the compressor does not start or stops shortly after starting.
Defrost Sensor or Defrost Circuit Error
E5
Display shows E5 and the compressor does not run; interior light and display may still work.
Compressor Start / Inverter Fault
E6
E6 appears and the display or control buttons behave erratically; settings cannot be changed reliably.
Control Panel / User Interface Communication Error
E7
Freezer shows E7 and may not respond to temperature changes; sometimes accompanied by continuous alarm beeping.
Main Control Board Fault
E8
E8 is displayed and the internal fan does not run, leading to uneven temperatures and frost buildup around the evaporator.
Evaporator Fan Motor Fault
E9
E9 appears and the high-temperature alarm is active even though the freezer seems cold, or the alarm never triggers even when warm.
Alarm / Safety Sensor Fault
F1
Freezer displays F1 and does not reach the set temperature; compressor may run continuously.
Thermostat / Temperature Regulation Fault
F2
F2 appears and the display backlight or segments flicker or go blank intermittently.
Display Module / Power Supply Fault
F3
F3 is shown and the freezer may not start cooling after being plugged in; sometimes accompanied by a brief relay click.
Overload Protection / Compressor Overcurrent Fault
F4
F4 appears and the freezer repeatedly enters or exits defrost mode at the wrong times, causing temperature swings.
Defrost Control Logic Fault
F5
F5 is displayed and the door alarm sounds even when the door is firmly closed.
Door Switch / Door Sensor Fault
F6
F6 appears and the freezer may not enter fast-freeze mode or may exit it prematurely.
Super-Freeze Function Fault
H1
H1 is displayed and the freezer stops cooling; the compressor may be locked out.
High Temperature Protection / Overheat Fault
H2
H2 appears and the freezer may shut down or run at reduced capacity during very cold or very hot ambient conditions.
Ambient Temperature Out-of-Range Protection
Hi
Display shows "Hi" or a high temperature warning; the alarm may sound continuously.
High Temperature / Sensor Over-Range Fault
Lo
Display shows "Lo" or a very low temperature warning; freezer may run less frequently or cycle oddly.
Low Temperature / Sensor Under-Range Fault
Symptom
Digital display is dim, some segments are missing, or buttons respond intermittently.
User Interface Wear or Failure
Symptom
Door gasket is visibly cracked, torn, or not sealing, causing frost and high energy use.
Door Gasket Failure
Symptom
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the evaporator cover, walls, and food items inside the freezer.
Excessive Frost Accumulation
Symptom
Freezer door is difficult to close or pops open slightly after being shut.
Door Closure and Vacuum Issues
Symptom
Freezer emits a chemical or refrigerant-like smell, especially near the rear or underneath.
Possible Refrigerant Leak
Symptom
Freezer emits a strong musty or moldy odor when opened.
Odor Contamination Inside Cabinet
Symptom
Freezer interior is too cold; food is excessively hard or frosted, and ice forms on packaging even at moderate settings.
Overcooling – Thermostat or Sensor Misregulation
Symptom
Freezer interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but cooling is normal.
Interior Light Circuit Failure
Symptom
Freezer interior temperature fluctuates widely, causing partial thawing and refreezing of food.
Unstable Temperature Control
Symptom
Freezer is making a loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear, louder than usual operation.
Noisy Compressor or Vibrating Components
Symptom
Freezer makes a loud knocking or banging noise during compressor start or stop.
Compressor Start/Stop Noise and Line Hammer
Symptom
Freezer not cooling at all; interior remains at room temperature, compressor not running, display may be on.
No Cooling – Compressor Not Running
Symptom
Freezer produces a high-pitched whine or squeal from inside the cabinet, especially when the compressor is running.
Evaporator Fan Noise
Symptom
Freezer runs continuously but does not reach the set temperature; interior is cool but not freezing properly.
Insufficient Cooling – Possible Refrigerant or System Issue
Symptom
Freezer starts but stops after a few seconds or minutes, then tries again repeatedly.
Short Cycling
Symptom
Freezer vibrates excessively and may move or rattle against nearby furniture during operation.
Excessive Vibration
Symptom
Freezer will not start at all; no lights, no display, and no sound.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
Ice forming only on the top or only on one side of the freezer interior, with other areas relatively frost-free.
Localized Frost – Air Leak or Airflow Issue
Symptom
Water or ice forming under the bottom drawers or baskets inside the freezer.
Internal Condensation and Ice Sheet Formation
Symptom
Water pooling at the bottom inside the freezer or leaking onto the floor from the front.
Defrost Water Drain Blockage
