ADD WATER
Display shows 'ADD WATER' or water indicator light stays on; unit will not start or stops mid-cycle.
Low Water Level Detection / Reservoir Empty
E1
Ice maker stops and displays E1; unit may beep continuously and not start an ice-making cycle.
Water Inlet Sensor / Water Shortage Fault
E2
E2 error on display; ice-making cycle stops early, often accompanied by unusual ice size or no ice at all.
Ice Full Sensor / Infrared Beam Fault
E3
E3 error displayed; machine may run briefly then stop, often with no ice production and a warm evaporator plate.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (NTC) Fault
E4
E4 error on display; unit may stop mid-cycle or fail to start, sometimes after a defrost or long run period.
Ambient / Cabinet Temperature Sensor Fault
E5
E5 error displayed; compressor may not start or may shut down quickly; no ice is produced.
Compressor Overload / High Temperature Protection Fault
E6
E6 error on display; unit may power on but will not start an ice-making cycle.
Water Pump Fault / Pump Overload
E7
E7 error displayed; unit may freeze partially then stop, or may not detect ice formation correctly.
Ice Thickness Sensor / Probe Fault
E8
E8 error on display; unit may beep and stop, often associated with abnormal water temperature or rapid cycling.
Water Temperature Sensor Fault
E9
E9 error displayed; unit may not power up fully or may shut down unexpectedly during operation.
Low Voltage / Power Supply Fault
ICE FULL
Display shows 'ICE FULL' or ice-full indicator light stays on even when the basket is empty; unit will not make more ice.
False Ice Bin Full Detection
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / Button Switch Failure
Symptom
Display is blank or very dim, but the unit still seems to run or make noise.
Display Module or Low Voltage to Display
Symptom
Evaporator plate or ice-making fingers become heavily iced over and do not release ice properly.
Defrost/Harvest Failure
Symptom
Ice cubes have a strong plastic, chemical, or musty taste or odour.
Contaminated Water Path / Biofilm or Residue
Symptom
Ice cubes melt quickly in the basket and clump together, even while the unit is running.
Insufficient Storage Cooling / Poor Insulation
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation, with rattling, buzzing, or grinding sounds.
Mechanical Vibration or Fan/Pump Noise
Symptom
Ice maker leaks water onto the countertop or floor during or after operation.
Water Leak from Reservoir or Internal Plumbing
Symptom
Ice maker makes a high-pitched squealing or chirping noise during operation.
Dry or Worn Fan/Pump Bearings
Symptom
Ice maker powers on (lights/display work) but will not start an ice-making cycle when the button is pressed.
Control Input or Safety Interlock Fault
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice only on one side of the evaporator or unevenly across the plate.
Partial Evaporator Blockage or Gas Distribution Issue
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice very slowly; it takes much longer than specified to fill the basket.
Reduced Cooling Efficiency
Symptom
Ice maker produces very small, hollow, or misshapen ice cubes; cycles may be shorter than normal.
Insufficient Water Flow to Evaporator
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all; compressor may or may not be running; no error code displayed.
Refrigeration System Failure / No Cooling
Symptom
Ice maker runs but water does not circulate over the evaporator; reservoir remains full.
Water Pump Non-Operation
Symptom
Ice maker runs continuously without cycling off, even when the basket is full of ice.
Ice Level Detection Failure (Not Stopping)
Symptom
Ice maker shuts off after a short time and will not restart until it cools down.
Thermal Overload / Overheating Protection
Symptom
Ice maker stops mid-cycle and restarts repeatedly without completing a full ice-making cycle.
Overheating or Control Reset Loop
Symptom
Ice maker trips the household circuit breaker or blows the plug fuse when turned on.
Electrical Short or Overcurrent
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively and can move or "walk" on the countertop during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Poor Mounting
Symptom
Unit displays random characters or flickering segments on the screen, but otherwise operates.
Display/Data Communication Glitch
Symptom
Unit does not power on at all; no lights, no sounds.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
Unit emits a burning smell or visible smoke during operation.
Electrical Overheating or Component Burnout
Symptom
Water appears cloudy or milky in the reservoir after several cycles.
High Mineral Content / Scale Formation
Symptom
Water remains in the ice tray or on the evaporator after a cycle, and ice does not form correctly.
Improper Water Drain/Return from Evaporator
