CF
Display shows CF and the compressor does not run; unit remains warm.
Compressor Failure or Control Fault
dF
Display shows dF and the unit may pause cooling; fan may stop during this period.
Defrost Mode Indication / Defrost Fault (depending on model)
E1
Wine cooler display shows E1 and interior temperature rises above the set value; compressor does not start or cycles briefly.
Cabinet Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E2
Display shows E2 and the wine cooler struggles to maintain the correct temperature; unit may run continuously or not cool properly.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E3
Display shows E3 and the ambient temperature reading is incorrect or fluctuates wildly; cooling performance may be erratic.
Ambient Temperature Sensor (NTC) Failure
E4
Wine cooler shows E4 and the compressor and fan may stop; unit may not restart until power is cycled.
Defrost Sensor or Defrost Circuit Fault
E5
Display shows E5 and the compressor may not start or may shut down shortly after starting; cooling is inadequate.
Compressor Start/Overload Protection Fault
E6
Wine cooler shows E6 and the internal fan does not run, or runs intermittently; temperature is uneven inside the cabinet.
Evaporator/Interior Fan Motor Fault
E7
Display shows E7 and the door open icon may flash even when the door is closed; interior light may stay on and cooling may stop.
Door Switch / Door Sensor Fault
E8
Wine cooler shows E8 and the display may be blank or flicker; buttons may not respond correctly.
User Interface / Display Board Communication Fault
E9
Display shows E9 and the compressor and fan may stop; unit may not respond to temperature changes.
Main Control PCB Fault
Er
Display shows Er or ‘Err’ and the control panel may be unresponsive or partially functional.
General Control Error / Keypad Fault
F1
Dual-zone Teka wine cooler shows F1 and the upper zone does not maintain the set temperature.
Upper Zone Temperature Sensor Fault
F2
Dual-zone Teka wine cooler shows F2 and the lower zone does not maintain the set temperature.
Lower Zone Temperature Sensor Fault
H1
Display shows H1 or ‘HI’ and the cabinet temperature reading is abnormally high; unit may run continuously.
High Temperature Alarm Condition
L1
Display shows L1 or ‘LO’ and the cabinet temperature reading is abnormally low; bottles may be over-chilled or freezing.
Low Temperature Alarm / Overcooling
Symptom
A clicking sound is heard repeatedly from the rear of the wine cooler; compressor attempts to start but shuts off quickly.
Compressor Short Cycling / Overload Tripping
Symptom
Condensation or water droplets forming on the outside of the glass door or around the door frame.
Excessive Condensation on Door
Symptom
Control panel buttons do not respond or respond intermittently; temperature cannot be adjusted.
Unresponsive Keypad / Touch Control
Symptom
Display is very dim, segments are missing, or the temperature readout is difficult to see.
Dim or Faulty Display
Symptom
Door glass appears foggy or has condensation between the glass panes.
Failed Door Insulating Glass Seal
Symptom
Dual-zone wine cooler has one zone cooling normally while the other zone is warm or at room temperature.
Single-Zone Cooling Failure in Dual-Zone Unit
Symptom
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the interior rear wall or around the evaporator area.
Frost Accumulation / Defrost System Failure
Symptom
Interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but the cooler otherwise operates normally.
Interior Light Circuit Failure
Symptom
Interior temperature varies significantly between shelves; some bottles are much warmer or colder than others.
Uneven Temperature Distribution
Symptom
Water pooling at the bottom of the wine cooler or leaking onto the floor from the front or rear.
Water Leak / Drainage Problem
Symptom
Wine cooler does not power on at all; display is dark and there are no sounds or lights.
No Power / Power Supply Failure
Symptom
Wine cooler door does not close properly or pops open slightly after being shut.
Door Alignment / Hinge Problem
Symptom
Wine cooler emits a strong chemical, burning, or plastic smell during operation.
Overheating Component or Contamination
Symptom
Wine cooler interior light stays on even when the door is closed, causing warming inside the cabinet.
Light Stuck On / Door Switch Fault
Symptom
Wine cooler interior temperature fluctuates widely over short periods, even without door openings.
Unstable Temperature Control
Symptom
Wine cooler is cooling but not reaching the set temperature; it stabilizes a few degrees warmer than desired.
Insufficient Cooling / Performance Degradation
Symptom
Wine cooler makes loud humming, buzzing, or rattling noises during operation.
Excessive Noise / Vibration
Symptom
Wine cooler runs but does not cool; interior remains at room temperature or only slightly cooler.
Loss of Refrigeration / Cooling Circuit Failure
Symptom
Wine cooler runs continuously without cycling off; temperature may be correct or slightly low.
Continuous Running / Control or Air Leak Issue
Symptom
Wine cooler trips the household circuit breaker or RCD when it starts or after running for a short time.
