E1
Ice maker will not power on, display is blank or only shows E1 shortly after plugging in.
Main Control Board Communication Failure
E10
E10 error; unit runs but produces very little or no ice, often accompanied by long cycle times.
Low Refrigerant or Refrigeration System Performance Fault
E11
E11 error; unit stops and may display a water droplet or leak icon on some Teendow models.
Internal Leak or Drain Sensor Fault
E12
E12 error; display may show a fan icon with a slash, and the unit overheats or shuts down.
Evaporator Fan Motor Fault (for forced-air Teendow models)
E13
E13 error; control panel buttons do not respond or respond erratically.
User Interface (UI) Panel Communication Error
E14
E14 error; unit may not start a cycle and may beep repeatedly at startup.
Door or Lid Switch Fault
E15
E15 error; unit indicates a water shortage even though the reservoir appears full.
Water Level Float or Sensor Error
E16
E16 error; unit may shut down with a high-temperature warning, cabinet feels hot.
Overheat Protection or High-Temperature Cutout
E17
E17 error; unit fails to drain meltwater or cleaning solution, water remains in the sump.
Drain Pump or Gravity Drain Fault
E18
E18 error; unit may show a sensor icon and stop mid-cycle without obvious mechanical issues.
General Sensor Circuit Error
E19
E19 error; unit may not enter cleaning mode or may abort cleaning cycles.
Cleaning Mode Circuit or Button Fault
E2
Unit powers on but stops shortly after start with E2 on the display; no ice is produced.
Water Inlet Valve or Water Level Sensor Failure
E20
E20 error; unit may show a lock icon and ignore button presses.
Control Lock or Child Lock Circuit Fault
E3
E3 error appears and the unit stops mid-cycle; ice plate or evaporator does not frost properly.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (Thermistor) Fault
E4
E4 error code, unit runs briefly then shuts down; fan noise may be absent or intermittent.
Condenser Fan Motor Failure
E5
E5 error appears; ice is thin, misshapen, or production stops during harvest.
Ice Thickness Sensor or Probe Malfunction
E6
E6 error code; unit may start but quickly shuts off, often with compressor not engaging properly.
Compressor Overload or Start Circuit Fault
E7
E7 error; water in the bin or reservoir is unusually warm, or ice melts quickly inside the machine.
Ambient or Bin Temperature Sensor Failure
E8
E8 error; water pump does not circulate water over the evaporator, ice production stops.
Water Circulation Pump Failure
E9
E9 error; unit beeps and stops, often when the ice bin is full or appears full.
Ice Bin Full Sensor or Infrared Beam Fault
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or trigger the wrong functions.
Keypad or Touch Control Failure
Symptom
Control panel display is dim, flickering, or partially unreadable.
Display or Backlight Failure
Symptom
Ice appears cloudy or white instead of clear.
Entrained Air or Mineral Content in Ice
Symptom
Ice has a bad taste or odor (chemical, plastic, or musty).
Contaminated Water Path or Storage Bin
Symptom
Ice maker cycles on and off frequently with short run times and long pauses.
Short Cycling
Symptom
Ice maker exterior or control panel feels unusually hot to the touch.
Overheating Cabinet or Electronics
Symptom
Ice maker interior or ice bin has visible mold, slime, or algae growth.
Biological Contamination
Symptom
Ice maker is leaking water onto the counter or floor.
External Water Leak
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or buzzing).
Mechanical Noise or Vibration
Symptom
Ice maker makes a loud knocking or banging sound during harvest.
Harvest Mechanism Impact or Ice Slab Release Noise
Symptom
Ice maker powers on but will not start a cycle when the START button is pressed.
Start Circuit or Safety Interlock Fault
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but ice is very large, clumped, or bridges together.
Excessive Ice Thickness or Harvest Timing Fault
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but ice is very small, thin, or hollow.
Insufficient Water Flow or Incorrect Ice Thickness
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all.
No Ice Production – General Failure
Symptom
Ice maker runs continuously and does not stop even when the bin is full.
Bin Full Detection Failure
Symptom
Ice maker starts a cycle but shuts off prematurely without completing ice formation.
Premature Cycle Termination
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively or walks on the counter/floor.
Excessive Vibration
Symptom
Ice maker will not turn on at all (no lights, no display).
No Power Condition
Symptom
Ice melts quickly in the bin or bin temperature feels too warm.
Poor Ice Storage Cooling or Insulation
Symptom
Water is pooling inside the ice bin or cabinet.
