E1
Multicooker beeps and displays E1 shortly after starting any cooking program; heating does not begin or stops immediately.
Bottom Temperature Sensor (NTC) Open Circuit
E2
Display shows E2 and the cooker will not heat or stops mid-cycle; fan and lights may still operate.
Bottom Temperature Sensor (NTC) Short Circuit / Overheat Detection
E3
E3 appears during pressure cooking or high-temperature programs; cooker stops heating and may beep continuously.
Overtemperature / Dry Pot Protection on Heating Plate
E4
E4 error appears when trying to start a pressure program; cooker does not build pressure and cancels the cycle.
Lid Temperature Sensor Fault / Overheat at Lid
E5
E5 is displayed shortly after starting a pressure program; cooker may start to heat but then stops and vents steam.
Abnormal Pressure / Overpressure Protection Triggered
E6
E6 appears and the cooker will not start any pressure program; other non-pressure functions may still work.
Pressure Sensor Circuit Fault
E7
E7 error appears when trying to start a program; cooker does not heat and may beep repeatedly.
Heating Circuit Open / Triac or Relay Fault
E8
E8 is displayed and the cooker refuses to start; sometimes occurs after a power surge or lightning event.
Internal Control Board Fault / EEPROM or MCU Error
E9
E9 appears intermittently; cooker may shut down mid-cycle and lose all display, then restart with E9.
Low Voltage / Internal Power Supply Error
Err
Display shows a generic “Err” message and beeps; no specific code is given and programs cannot be started.
Generic Control System Error
LID
Display shows a lid-related error (e.g. “LID”, “Lid Open”, or flashing lid icon) and the cooker will not start pressure programs.
Lid Lock / Lid Position Switch Not Engaged
Symptom
Condensation or water collects around the base and on the countertop during normal use, even without visible leaks from the pot.
Condensation Management / Collector Overflow
Symptom
Display and lights flicker or reset when the cooker switches between heating and idle.
Intermittent Power / Voltage Drop Inside Appliance
Symptom
Display works but none of the buttons respond, or only some buttons work intermittently.
Keypad / Touch Panel Failure
Symptom
Float valve does not rise during pressure cooking, and the cooker never indicates it is at pressure.
Float Valve Stuck Down
Symptom
Float valve remains up and the lid cannot be opened long after cooking has finished and heating has stopped.
Float Valve Stuck Up / Residual Pressure
Symptom
High-pitched whine or buzzing noise from the base during operation, even when not heating strongly.
Electrical Buzz from Transformer or Inductor
Symptom
Inner pot coating is peeling or scratched, and food sticks badly during cooking.
Non-Stick Coating Degradation
Symptom
Inner pot wobbles or rocks excessively when placed in the cooker, causing uneven heating and noise.
Unstable Inner Pot Seating
Symptom
Keep Warm mode overheats food, causing it to burn or dry out instead of maintaining temperature.
Keep Warm Temperature Regulation Fault
Symptom
Lid is stuck and will not open after cooking; float valve appears down but the lid mechanism will not release.
Lid Lock Mechanism Jammed
Symptom
Lid will not close or lock properly; it feels misaligned and the lock icon never appears.
Lid Misalignment / Hinge or Lock Deformation
Symptom
Loud popping, clicking, or metallic banging noises from inside the multicooker during heating.
Thermal Expansion Noise / Loose Internal Components
Symptom
Multicooker does not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.
No Power / Dead Appliance
Symptom
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid and food takes much longer to cook.
Failure to Build Pressure
Symptom
Multicooker powers on but will not start any program; pressing Start does nothing or cancels immediately.
Start Circuit / Safety Interlock Not Satisfied
Symptom
Multicooker takes much longer than usual to reach pressure and complete programs.
Extended Preheat / Inefficient Heating
Symptom
Outer casing becomes excessively hot to touch during normal operation, not just around the lid and steam vent.
Insulation or Thermal Shielding Degradation
Symptom
Programs end prematurely with food undercooked, but no error code is displayed.
Premature Program Termination
Symptom
Steam leaks continuously from around the lid edge during pressure cooking, not just from the valve.
Lid Perimeter Steam Leak
Symptom
Steam or liquid spurts from the steam release valve in large bursts, splattering the worktop during pressure cooking.
Excessive Spitting from Steam Release Valve
Symptom
Strong burning smell and visible smoke from the steam vent or lid during cooking.
Food Burning on Heating Plate / Inner Pot
Symptom
Unpleasant stale or sour smell from inside the cooker, especially from the lid and sealing ring.
Odour Retention in Silicone Seal and Lid Components
Symptom
Water or food drips from the bottom of the multicooker onto the counter during or after cooking.
External Leak from Base
