E01
Pump will not start, control panel shows E01 immediately after pressing START.
Supply Undervoltage / Power Input Fault
E02
Pump attempts to start, hums briefly, then stops and displays E02.
Overcurrent / Motor Overload Protection
E03
Pump stops during operation and shows E03, will restart after cooling but trips again after several minutes.
Motor Overtemperature Protection
E04
Digital Kripsol pump controller shows E04 and the motor does not run, often after a storm or power surge.
Motor Phase Loss / Phase Imbalance (for three‑phase models)
E05
Pump display shows E05 and the motor will not start; sometimes occurs after wiring changes.
Incorrect Supply Frequency / Configuration Error
E06
Kripsol variable-speed pump shows E06 and stops; may occur when the pump is wet or after heavy rain.
Ground Fault / Earth Leakage Detected
E07
Display shows E07 and pump speed drops or stops unexpectedly.
Overvoltage Protection / DC Bus Overvoltage (VS models)
E08
Kripsol pump controller shows E08 and the motor will not run; sometimes after wiring the motor.
Motor Wiring / Phase Sequence Error
E09
Display shows E09 and pump runs only at very low speed or not at all.
Tachometer / Speed Feedback Fault (VS models)
E10
Kripsol pump display shows E10 and the pump stops; often coincides with very low or no water flow.
Dry-Run / No Water Protection
E11
Display shows E11 and pump cannot reach set speed; sometimes accompanied by unusual noise.
Mechanical Overload / Blocked Impeller Detected
E12
Kripsol controller shows E12 and the keypad or display becomes unresponsive.
Control Panel / Keypad Communication Error
E13
Pump display shows E13 and the unit will not start; often after lightning or a major surge.
Internal Electronics Failure / Self-Test Error
E14
Kripsol variable-speed pump shows E14 and runs only at a fixed low speed or not at all.
Communication Error with External Control (RS485 / Automation)
E15
Display shows E15 and pump stops; may be associated with very high filter pressure.
System Overpressure / Hydraulic Protection
Symptom
Digital display on the Kripsol pump is blank or very dim, but the pump may still run.
Display / Power Supply Fault
Symptom
Pump cannot be controlled from the keypad; buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / User Interface Failure
Symptom
Pump cannot be primed after winterization; it just sucks air and never fills.
Improper De-Winterization / Open Drain Points
Symptom
Pump hums loudly when switched on but does not spin; may trip the breaker after a few seconds.
Locked Rotor / Failed Start Circuit
Symptom
Pump is unusually loud and vibrates after a recent installation or re-plumbing.
Hydraulic Mismatch / Installation Fault
Symptom
Pump loses prime overnight and must be re-primed each day.
Slow Air Ingress / Suction-Side Leak
Symptom
Pump makes a rattling or clattering noise, especially at startup or when flow changes.
Cavitation / Hydraulic Instability
Symptom
Pump motor housing is extremely hot to the touch, even though the pump is still running.
Overheating Motor (Without Immediate Trip)
Symptom
Pump runs but air bubbles are constantly visible in the pump lid and at the pool returns.
Persistent Air Ingress on Suction Side
Symptom
Pump runs but the filter pressure is much lower than normal and the pool circulation is poor.
Reduced Flow / Impeller Wear or Blockage
Symptom
Pump runs but there is a strong burning smell near the motor.
Overheating Windings / Electrical Insulation Breakdown
Symptom
Pump runs but there is excessive vibration transmitted to the pipes and equipment pad.
Pump Misalignment / Imbalance
Symptom
Pump runs but there is no water flow or only a weak trickle from the pool returns.
Loss of Prime / Suction Starvation
Symptom
Pump runs but trips the breaker or GFCI after a short time.
Overcurrent / Ground Fault During Operation
Symptom
Pump runs but water appears cloudy and there is poor filtration despite normal pressure.
Insufficient Circulation Time / Undersized Flow
Symptom
Pump speed fluctuates up and down on a variable-speed Kripsol pump without user input.
Unstable Speed Control / Sensor Interference
Symptom
Pump starts and runs but is much noisier than usual, with a high-pitched whine or grinding sound.
Worn Motor Bearings
Symptom
Pump will not hold schedule or timer settings; clock resets after power interruptions.
Timer / Memory Retention Failure
Symptom
Pump will not start at all; no humming, no sound, but power is available at the equipment pad.
No-Start Condition / Open Circuit
Symptom
Water drips or sprays from around the clear pump lid when the pump is running.
Leaking Pump Lid / Cover Seal
Symptom
Water is leaking steadily from the joint between the motor and the pump housing.
Failed Mechanical Shaft Seal
Symptom
Water leaks from the unions or threaded connections on the suction or discharge side of the pump.
Leaking Unions / Pipe Connections
